The former president has reportedly been called for jury duty in Chicago's Cook County, where he is registered to vote. It's unclear whether he'll be considered for criminal or civil proceedings -- that will be determined once he appears in court next month. Even still, chances are high that, ultimately, he won't be selected to serve.

Per the Washington Post, Obama has been called for jury duty once before. He received a summons in 2010, but was unable to appear in court thanks to a pretty good excuse: he had to deliver the State of the Union address.
