Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are back for more buddy cop action-comedy in the fourth installment of the Bad Boysfranchise. In 2020, directing duo Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah took the reins from Michael Bay with Bad Boys for Life, which made over $426.5 million at the box office. Now they're bringing us Bad Boys: Ride or Die.
In the fourth film, Miami PD detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett seek to clear the name of the late Captain Conrad Howard (Joe Pantoliano) when he's posthumously accused of corruption. Considering the newest film comes nearly 30 years after the initial Bad Boys, you might need to revisit the prior films to recall everything that went down. Technically, you could watch Ride or Diewithout seeing the first two films, but you'll at least want to watch (or rewatch) Bad Boys for Lifeto get up to speed.

The latest Bad Boysfilm makes its theatrical debut on June 7, 2024. For those keeping track, Ride or Diecomes nearly three decades after the initial Bad Boysmovie. The first installment hit theaters in 1995, followed by the second in 2003 and third in 2020.
