The news comes two days after eight-year-old WM Motor acknowledged that it had filed a bankruptcy plan in Shanghai in a move the embattled electric vehicle maker said would facilitate a cash injection from new strategic investors globally to avoid a debt crisis. The company terminated the process of going public in Hong Kong via a backdoor listing, according to a Sept. 10 filing.
