Apple AirPods had a quiet year in 2023,sex violence on the boat sex video but this year, things may be heating up, according to analyst Jeff Pu (per MacRumors.)
Pu claims that Apple is planning on releasing cheaper AirPods later this year, which aligns with previous reporting by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, a reliable Apple prognosticator.

To be more specific, Gurman said last month that Apple is working on a pair of fourth-generation AirPods models to be released in the second half of this year. One will be an entry-level model and the other will be a "mid-tier" variant. Expect better sound, a redesigned fit, and a USB-C charging case for both models. Gurman also suggested the mid-tier version would get active noice cancelation, something the base AirPods have badly needed for years.
