The xx lucahIkebana Teachers Association of Southern California will showcase the Japanese art of ikebana with more than 30 arrangements to support 75th the Nisei Week Festival.
The arrangements will be shown at the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center, 244 S. San Pedro St. in Little Tokyo, on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 15-16, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This exhibition will be the first event for the group, which was founded this year.
Participating artists are from four schools of ikebana:
