On Friday, the beloved toy company announced that its largest set ever, aRoman Colosseum with whopping 9,036 pieces, will be on sale Nov. 27 (aka Black Friday).
The Colosseum will break the record for largest Lego set, dethroning the previous 2017 title holder, the 7,541-piece Ultimate Collector Series Star WarsMillennium Falcon. Prior to the Millennium Falcon, Gizmodo notes that the largest set was the 5,923-piece Taj Mahal model, which is still impressive, but nothing compared to Lego's latest unveiling.

Before you get too attached, however, just know that recreating the historic Roman landmark in Lego will set you back a bit financially. The set costs $549.99, which might not seem like a lot of money to seasoned Lego collectors, but it did make me (an amateur builder) drop my jaw.
Maybe I'd be more inclined to make the purchase if it came with a Lego cast of The Lizzie McGuire Movie or something. (Lego, if you're reading this, please consider.)
