Now the Eighth Gradewriter and director has published over one hour of Inside's unused material. It includes new music, sketches, and plenty of existential staring.

"I've spent the last two months editing together material that I shot for the special but didn’t end up using," Burnham wrote in a tweet announcing The Inside Outtakes.

Filmed between March 2020 and May 2021, The Inside Outtakes will probably make more sense if you watch Burnham's Netflix special first. At the very least, the repeated choral strains of "Jeffrey Bezos" will have some context. Though on the other hand, Insidedidn't have much in the way of a coherent narrative anyway.
