According to People, the Earl and Countess of Carnarvon, who own the real life Downton Abbey (actually Highclere Castle), are hosting a virtual cocktail party via Facebook Live on Friday, April 17.
The Earl and Countess plan to discuss the history of Highclere, drink period cocktails from the 1920s and 1930s, and share stories about what it was like to have Downton Abbeyfilmed in their home.
Keeping with the theme of the show, the Earl and Countess will have a little jazz (Lady Rose would approve), a little gin (everyone on Downtonwould approve), and a lot of throwback glamour (fans of the show and movie will definitely approve).
