Netflix will officially be axing their cheapest ad-free subscription plan (aka their most affordable plan) in the U.K. and Canada starting in the second quarter of this year. For now, there are no details on if or when this will affect U.S. users, but don't be surprised if the plan is phased out everywhere.

Through Verizon's +play streaming portal, when you buy one valid seasonal or annual subscription, you get Netflix Premium for a year for free.
