But how did he overcome Tesla's software limitations to do that? Interestingly, the Tesla didn't require many hardware modifications to achieve this feat, except for bigger brakes and higher performance tires. Other than that, it looks like a pretty basic Model S, you know, the type you take your kids to kindergarten with.
A cool detail: As the Tesla speeds up to about 185 miles per hour, the color of the speedometer turns from white to red, probably signifying danger. And yes, this is a very dangerous feat which you should probably never try yourself.
