And this year, the hotel has unveiled an installation that interweaves themes of nature and technology with tradition and the future to create a truly immersive experience.

Beneath a canopy of natural green pine, models of Scottish pine trees are interspersed with both natural and photographed birch and fir trees.
White light fades in and out on a continuous cycle to change the scene from day to night.

"Our aim was to create an all-enveloping magical experience that celebrates our enormous respect for tradition while recognising our excitement about the future and things to come."
